Resilience

Vampires with the discipline of Resilience can use their beast’s power to shrug off harm, and endure blows that would cripple others.

1) Unnatural Stamina

The character’s ability to channel their vitae to grant exceptional toughness makes them more effective in combat, as they shrug off all but the most savage blows.

Failure

Your character is unable to summon their stamina on this occasion.

Success

Your character is able to summon their stamina.  +1 to combat for the next ten minutes.

Exceptional Success

Your character is able to summon their stamina.  +2 to combat for the next ten minutes.


2) Indomitable Will

The character’s will can keep their body moving normally beyond any sane limit.  They may continue to act normally even while critically injured for the duration of this power, meaning they cannot be killed, fed on, or staked and placed in torpor against their will while the effect lasts.

Failure

Your character is unable to summon their stamina on this occasion.

Success

Your character may continue to move and act normally for the next 5 minutes, regardless of how injured they are.  At the end of that time, if they are Critically Injured, then the normal rules apply.

Exceptional Success

Your character may continue to move and act normally for the next 15 minutes, regardless of how injured they are.  At the end of that time, if they are Critically Injured, then the normal rules apply.


3) Stand Against The Storm

The character’s can make their flesh so tough it is almost impossible to harm them in combat.

Failure

Your character is unable to summon their stamina on this occasion.

Success

Regardless of the combat outcome, it is impossible to critically injure this character for the next ten minutes.

Exceptional Success

This character is adept at putting their supernaturally touch flesh between them and their allies – in addition to being impossible to critically injure for the next ten minutes, they may designate one ally as enjoying similar protection.
