Coils of the Dragon – Wyrm

A member of the Ordo Dracul may choose one Coil of the Dragon to study, if they wish. They may not study more than one coil.

Students of the Coil of the Wyrm seek to exert a measure of control over their beast, first learning to actively allow it to take them over, and then to direct and empower it.

1) Rouse the beast

The character has trained their Beast to come when they call.  What the beast does, however, is still a danger.

Failure

Your character is unable to summon beast on this occasion.

Success

Your character is about to enter frenzy.  Please have them assault the character directly to their [random direction].

Exceptional Success

Your character is about to enter frenzy.  Please find a ref, who will tell you who the beast thinks is the greatest danger to them in the room, and who the beast will attack first.

2) Command the beast

The character has trained their Beast to come when they call and can even direct its initial actions.

Failure

Your character is unable to summon beast on this occasion.

Success

Your character is about to enter frenzy.  You may pick the character they will assault first.  After that point, a ref will tell you who they assault next.

Exceptional Success

Your character is about to enter frenzy.  You may pick the characters they will assault first and second.  After that point, a ref will tell you who they assault next.

3) Beast’s Power

The character has trained their beast to act with devastating force.  This power may only be used immediately prior to invoking one of the lower ranks of this coil.  If this power fails, the other rank must still be invoked.

Failure

Your character is unable to bring forth the full power of their beast on this occasion.

Success

Your character’s frenzy gives them +6 to combat.

Exceptional Success

Your character’s frenzy gives them +7 to combat.
